Discover the ways you can use vinyl cutters, heat press, color printer/cutter, and laser cutter to enhance your curriculum, build student entrepreneurial skills, and generate money for school programs.

3D Printing FUNdamentals for Educators

Who said learning fundamentals can’t be fun? Geared toward educators, learn the FUNdamentals of 3D printing. Do you want to introduce a 3D Printer into your classroom but are unsure of how to run one? Or do you currently have a 3D Printer and coud use a refresher course on how to maintain and run a 3D Printer? This workshop is for you! From creating a printable file to conducting proper maintenance, this workshop will establish basic skills that will build confidence running a 3D printer in the classroom.

Laser Cutting 101

This is an introductory class in learning about your laser system, how to maintain it, and what is the workflow in creating a successful laser cut/etch job.This is also a great refresher opportunity for those educators that are coming back from the summer.

CAD Modeling for 3D Printing

This is an introductory class in learning how to use TinkerCAD in modeling objects for 3D printing. We will learn tips and tricks in setting up your 3D printer and what to look for when printing your design. A MakerBot demonstration included.

Laser Cutting 102

This is a collaboration workshop where we will work together in taking your design and see what happens when we laser cut it on a variety of mediums. (card stock, wood, leather, metal, ceramics). We will learn how to change the settings through the illustration software that you’re using in order to make a successful engraving. We will learn more about the theory behind the laser settings and let you loose on the machines.

CAD/CAM Intensive

In this intensive class we will work with you one-on-one to create components and setup the CAM operation in Autodesk Fusion 360. Learn how to prepare several different tool paths and export G-code that will talk with your CNC machine.
